Changing Poland Forever

November 10 Morning: Today we are in Proszowice with Anna Grzybowska for our first meeting and then on to Jaworzno. Evening: We had Polish 100 believers come for our first meeting at the Free Christian Church ( Bretheren ) in Jaworzno on commitment to our Lord and to reaching Poland for Christ beginning with the prayers of the righteous who walk in humility, have a contrite heart and tremble at His word. Nov. 11: Our first evangelistic meeting was held at the "House of Hope" mission with 20 men who have almost destroyed their lives with liquor and drugs. Most of them have decided to follow Christ and to trust in Him alone. The House of Hope is run by the Pentecostal Church in Jaworzno. We continue our meetings in Jaworzno for two more days - Saturday and Sunday with meetings that will last for seven hours each day including meal breaks.

Nov. 14: We have completed a series of meetings which included training for 100 Poles with the Free Christian Bretheren church of Poland and evangelism among 38 Homeless Polish men who have signed into the Mission of Hope - Pentecostal Church for starting a new life. Anna also spoke to all of the Christians about prayer for our children. These first meetings were held in the Coal mining area of Poland in Upper Silesia in the city of Jaworzno. This week we will have meetings in Krakow with the staff of Campus Crusade for Christ, in Warsaw with the pastor of Poland's largest church where we are both officially working an a project for Purpose Driven Ministries together and I will be spending a four day weekend in the Baltic Port City of Szczecin, speaking in many meetings there as we continue to do training, teaching and evangelism. Anna and the children will miss this one weekend with me as they are a bit under the weather.

We hope to help prepare at least 600 Poles for service in conferences and to preach the gospel to hundreds more in the ten to fifteen cities we go to as our schedule expands on a daily basis. We will try to leave one day for rest each week, but the work here is so great that we could easily go on for two years with new folks each week.

Nov. 16:
Today I had a wonderful meeting for two hours with Pastor Andrzej Bajenski in Warsaw. He is considered Poland's most successful Pastor by most. We talked about working on some projects in the future together and about our current work for Purpose Driven Ministries. After that meeting I headed out to the Baltic coast where I will be holding evangelism meetings in a Polish Prison and speaking to the Evangelical church in Szczecin while Anna is in Krakow in ministry to many Poles there.

Nov. 22: In Szczecin, twenty of the fifty Polish Prisoners publically expressed that they prayed to receive Jesus Christ as Lord and Savior after I preached to them for one hour. They will be followed up with a weekly Bible study. Szczecin is a major port near the Baltic Sea and the German border. I was teaching 100 believers here this past weekend as evangelism so far has been in a Prison and in a shelter for homeless men who have been drug addicts and alcoholics. Anna is concentrating on home schooling in Krakow and is also meeting with many Catholics to invite them to our Krakow meetings in December. The Catholics are organizing one meeting themselves for us where we hope up to 30 of them attend.

Nov. 24:
Last night I spent the evening and this morning with Wieslaw and Magda Grabowski who direct Family Life Ministries for Campus Crusade for Christ. They minister to thousands every year in conferences and camps all over Poland. Their son Grzegorz Grabowski has just graduated Valedictorian at Kings College located in the Empire State building  in New York City. I just arrived in Lodz where I will begin our conference here shortly with Warsaw Bible School Director Andrzej Elkowicz. Marian Szukalski who worked with us in Chicago will be meeting me in Lodz.

Nov. 25: Today in Lodz I will be speaking to Polish Jews including Poland's only Messianic Jewish Pastor and Marian Szukalski will come visit. Tomorrow I will have eight lectures at the Warsaw Bible School for 20 students and then speak to the 200 members of the Warsaw Evangelical Christian Church on Sunday. Anna is meeting with Catholics in Krakow this weekend including a Nun who was her best friend.

Nov. 27: Today I preached in the morning service of one of Poland's most important evangelical churches - the Warsaw Evangelical Christian Church. Henryk Dedo who is the director for the Polish Back to the Bible radio was present as he is an elder in the church and we were able to share with each other and plan for future co-operation in radio ministry. Anna spent the whole weekend in Krakow teaching the children and ministering to many Catholics, including her best friend who is a Nun.

Nov. 28-30:
These three days we will take some time to relax with the family and get ready for the next four weeks. We are also meeting again with Ania Grzybowska and Ula whom she is sharing with in Proszowice which is 30 miles from Krakow. Anna is also spending hours with Ela who has been in a cloistered monastery for 18 years.  This coming weekend is still being organized to the Messianic Jewish Fellowship Church in Koszalin on the Baltic Coast .  I will also be speaking to the University students in Bialystok on the same weekend. Anna will remain in Krakow one more time and then all of us will travel together to our most intense meetings in Lublin, Warsaw, Bydgoszcz and finally Krakow. One big praise is for news from Florida that someone has a car for us to use that will be insured and maintained for us as long as we need it.

In The Service of the King Together with You, Joe and Anna Losiak
